Jacqueline Diane Hooper – Director & Senior Accountant
Jacqueline Diane Hooper (Jackie) is the Director and Senior Accountant at JDH, bringing over 20 years of experience running a successful accountancy practice. A Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FMAAT), Jackie is known for her expert knowledge in small business accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, and financial systems. She is also a CTLLS-qualified trainer, having spent four years as a University Lecturer at the University of South Wales, where she taught and developed accounting courses tailored to business needs.
Jackie specialises in client onboarding, business process improvement, and the integration of accounting software and automation tools, including AI solutions. She holds advanced certifications as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor (Level 2), Xero Certified Advisor, and is an expert in Sage 50 Accounts. Her approach combines modern technology with personalised service to help clients streamline operations and reduce financial stress.
She thrives on helping people “sort out the mess” and take control of their finances. Whether setting up a new accounting system or resolving complex financial challenges, Jackie’s calm, professional manner puts clients at ease.
In addition to her technical skills, Jackie speaks English and has studied Polish for five years—though she admits it’s a tough language! She is available for client consultations from Monday to Thursday.
Outside of work, Jackie enjoys a wide range of hobbies including playing the piano, table tennis, pool, cycling, and spending quality time with her grandson Sam. She also loves travelling and taking holidays that recharge her creativity and passion for business.
