Jaqueline Diane Hooper FMAAT AATQB

Jackie is the Director at JDH and brings more than 20 years of experience in accounting and business process improvement. Throughout her career, she has helped a wide range of organisations strengthen their financial systems and work more efficiently.

As a Fellow Member of AAT (FMAAT) and a certified QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage 50 professional, Jackie specialises in streamlining accounting processes to help businesses reduce financial stress. Because of her practical knowledge and hands-on approach, she is able to guide clients toward systems that genuinely make their day-to-day operations easier.

In addition to her industry experience, Jackie has a background as a University Lecturer, where she taught business courses focused on payroll and accounting software. This teaching experience enables her to break down complex information and support clients with clarity and confidence.

Outside of work, Jackie enjoys playing the piano, cycling, and spending time with her grandson, Sam—activities that bring both creativity and joy to her week.

Jackie is available Monday to Thursday to help clients take control of their finances.

Heather Jayne Booton FMAAT AATQB

Heather has been a key member of JDH since 2005, bringing nearly 20 years of experience as a fully qualified AAT accountant.

Over the years, she has specialised in final accounts preparation and tax planning for many of our larger clients. Alongside her accounting expertise, she also holds additional payroll qualifications, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and knowledgeable support.

In her role as Practice Manager, Heather oversees the smooth running of the business. She also manages payroll and pension services for our clients, allowing her to combine her technical skills with her strong organisational abilities. Because of her honest approach and problem-solving mindset, she consistently delivers reliable and professional services.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading, taking relaxing walks in the park, and heading off on caravan holidays with her family—activities that give her a welcome balance to her busy work life.

Heather is available to assist clients on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.

Richard Hooper

Richard has been with JDH since 2016, bringing with him valuable experience gained from running his own business for many years. Because of this background, he has a practical understanding of what businesses need day to day. He now specialises in bookkeeping for Sage50 clients and also provides general administrative support to help keep operations running smoothly. As a result, Richard has become a key point of contact for businesses that prefer to continue using Sage50 rather than switching to cloud-based systems.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys trains, travelling, and photography. Whether he is exploring a new place or revisiting a favourite location, he is always ready to capture the perfect shot during his adventures.

Richard follows a flexible work pattern and is available whenever needed, ensuring clients receive timely, reliable, and efficient support.

Padma Gurrum MAAT AATQB

Padma is a qualified Accountant at JDH with more than 10 years of experience in UK accountancy practice, as well as 3 years of teaching accountancy in India. With this combination of practical and academic experience, she has developed a strong foundation in accounts, corporation tax, and income tax. Additionally, she is fluent in English, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, which allows her to support a wide range of clients with ease.

Known for her attention to detail and strong work ethic, Padma takes pride in helping clients stay organised and confident in their finances. Because of her thorough approach, she is able to provide clear guidance and reliable support throughout the year.

Outside work, she loves travelling with her family and watching her children play sports. She is learning tennis and enjoys seeing her skills improve each week.

Kimberley Barker AATQB

Kimberley joined JDH in 2023. She first supported the team with general admin while running her own business. During this time, she rediscovered her love for bookkeeping and chose to follow it full-time.

She is now a qualified bookkeeper. She is also a certified QuickBooks Pro and Xero Advisor. Kimberley is completing her AAT Level 3 qualification, building on the Level 2 she achieved in 2007.

Her role brings plenty of variety. She looks after cloud bookkeeping and also leads our marketing work. This mix allows her to use both her accounting skills and her creative side. She manages our website and social media with great care.

Outside work, Kimberley enjoys reading, seeing friends, and spending time with her family.

You can find her available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
